You can easily add, monitor, and manage two or more babies in the same Cradlewise app. Switch between your twins’ or triplets’ profiles for real-time video, audio, sleep data, and soundtracks. Whether you’re new to parenting twins or have been waiting for this, we’re here to help.

In this blog post, we’ll guide you through setting up and using this feature. From adding your twin/multiple babies to managing caregivers, we’ve got it covered. Let’s dive in!

What is Cradlewise’s twin-mode functionality?

Cradlewise’s twin/multiples support functionality is designed to streamline parents’ experience with twins, offering tailored features to manage the care of multiple babies within the same app. 

With Cradlewise’s twin support:

• Individualized profiles: Each twin has a dedicated profile within the app, which allows for personalized settings, monitoring, and caregiver management.
  
• Caregiver management: Parents can also easily add caregivers, such as grandparents or nannies, to both twins’ profiles, ensuring everyone involved in their care stays connected and informed.
  
• Effortless navigation: Parents can easily toggle between multiple babies to monitor them with the same app login.

Note: Each baby will have their own separate profile, allowing you to switch between them. However, viewing both babies simultaneously on a single screen is not supported as of now.

We have twins and just bought two Cradlewise cribs. How should I go about with the pairing?

Here’s how you can go about pairing your cribs:

1. Download the app, and create a login for your email. 
2. Start pairing baby 1’s crib. The app will give you instructions to create baby 1’s profile >  Switch on Bluetooth > Pair the crib 1.
   

To add baby 2 to the same account, there are two ways:

1. Go to Settings > Tap on the Top right baby icon > Add baby > Create a new profile
2. Go to Settings > Account > Baby > Add baby > Create a new profile
3. Follow the app’s instructions to create baby 2’s profile > Pair crib 2 with baby 2 and you’re done!

Now, you will see the baby selection element at the top right of all your pages.

How do I add my partner to both babies?

Managing twins involves coordinating multiple caregivers efficiently. Adding your spouse as a caregiver for both babies ensures everyone stays informed and involved in your twins’ care.

To add your partner to both babies:

1. Go to Baby 1’s Profile:
   • Navigate to baby 1’s profile in the app.
   • Go to Settings > Account > Caregiver team.
   • Create a caregiver by generating a shareable link.
   • Share this link with your partner. Once they accept, they’ll be added to baby 1’s profile.
     
2. Repeat for Baby 2:
   • Follow the same steps in baby 2’s profile.

How can I change the profile pictures of my twins/triplets?

Yes, you can change the profile pictures! Here’s how:

1. Tap the top right icon from your Home, Sleep, Sound, or Settings page.
2. The Baby Selection Bottom Sheet will open. Tap on the edit icon next to the baby’s display picture.
3. You’ll be taken to the profile page. Tap on Edit and either snap a new picture or upload one from your gallery.

And if your twins or triplets look so similar that you still can’t tell them apart from their profile pictures, don’t worry! You can always use color-coded onesies, funny hats, or even temporary superhero masks to keep things interesting. After all, who doesn’t want their baby to look like a mini Batman or Wonder Woman?
