Position Summary
A highly creative and strategic Senior Social Media Strategist to lead the development and execution of social media and influencer strategies. You will be responsible for developing social media content that fosters a deep sense of community and grows both brand engagement and revenue.
An expert in the social media space with a deep understanding of best practices, engagement strategies, and current and emerging trends across all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), as well as experience working with content creators and influencers.
A self-starter, data-minded, and possess excellent editorial judgment.
This role will report to the VP of Content + Community and work closely with several departments including Design, Product, and Content.

About the role:
Help shape overall organic social media strategy, platform tone of voice, audience growth plan, content creation and calendar, and measurement with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Linkedin, plus how influencers play a part in each platform strategy. YouTube knowledge is a plus.
Manage monthly planning across social platforms from a macro and micro lens, plus day-to-day activity, from concept to posting and tracking.
Source compelling UGC and activating the existing Cradlewise community.
Collaborate with VP of Content/Community on influencer strategy, working closely with influencers on content creation and deadlines for social media, providing constructive feedback and direction.
Partner with cross-functional teams across written, graphic, and video content. Ensure that strategies are aligned with broader company goals, including new product launches, audience and growth goals, and overall brand strategy.
Determine social and influencer marketing metrics and analyze performance regularly to identify growth and engagement trends. Communicate insights, key learnings, and recommendations to the broader team.
Manage organic relationships with Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, and YouTube, plus any additional 3rd party vendors.
Stay informed on the constantly changing social media and influencer landscape, spotting industry and cultural trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
What will set you up for success
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Journalism, or English is required.
7-8 years of social media experience at a brand or agency.
Deep knowledge of the social media and influencer marketing industry with the ability to contextualize trends and best practices across all major platforms.
Experience with scheduling and analytics platforms like Dash Hudson or Sprout, as well as experience reporting on performance.
Proven experience creating buzzy, unexpected campaigns and stories on social media that cater to the platform and, ultimately, help elevate and position the Cradlewise brand as a leader in the baby and maternal wellness space.
Excellent organizational, planning, and collaboration skills with an eye for detail and budget.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple moving parts and getting them moving in the same direction.

Previous experience with parenting brands or being a parent yourself is a huge plus!
Ability to showcase scientific information and brand ambassadors/members in socially friendly, aspirational, brand-appropriate, fresh, and unexpected ways.
A strong understanding of Cradlewise’s brand and voice and ability to communicate its message with consistency.
Art direction experience in graphic design, illustration, videography, and/or photography.
