Medical advisorDr. Akileswaran is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. She is currently the President/Chief Executive of the East Bay Medical Group, a 300-provider multi-specialty group based at Alameda Health System in Oakland, California. She is also the co-founder of Cleo, a venture-backed digital health platform that supports working parents to grow their families and their careers. Founded in 2016, Cleo has raised over $80M.
Dr. Akileswaran holds a Faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, an MD from Harvard Medical School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
She is the proud mother to her son, Prem.
